When I first heard of it, I took no notice because I was still grappling with blogs. I realize, I am quite retarded in my knowledge of the web. It took me a long time to realize that there was more to the net than just emails and spam. There is a lot of those too and they can really use up your time but, I can state, blogging held my attention the longest because there is something about writing that attracts me. Never mind that I am no good at it but I just love writing stuff. It matters little that there was no readership. Writing was all I needed to keep me satisfied. Well, for a bit, anyway. I got sick of doing the same things, namely, writing and blogging, or more importantly, I ran out of ideas to opine about. I required a change to keep from going looney tunes and I turned my attention on other stuff like locating an audience. So I studied social bookmarking. Nothing in depth, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and simple things like that. The great thing regarding social bookmarking sites is that it requires no Ph.D. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Spiders find your sites and index them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
