When I first heard of it, I didn’t pay any attention because I was still fascinated with blogs. I realize, I am severely challenged regarding the internet. It took me a bit of time to realize that there was more to the internet than identity theft and scams. There is a whole lot of those surely and they can really consume all your time but, if I remember accurately, blogging held my attention the longest because there is something about writing that attracts me. I do know that I am no good at it but I just love writing stuff. It matters little that there were no readers. Writing was what I needed to keep me well content. Well, for a little bit, anyway. I got nauseated doing the same things, namely, writing, or more importantly, I ran out of subject matters to blog about. I sorely needed a change to keep from going looney tunes and I turned my attention on other things like getting visitors. So I spent some time studying social bookmarking. Nothing hard-core, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and simple things like that. The good thing with social bookmarking sites is that it requires no Ph.D. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Spiders find your sites and rank them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
